WITH the month of the moustache almost here – company bosses from Linden Homes are preparing to become a fundraising force to be reckoned with.
Having signed up for the popular Movember charity stunt during the month of November, clean shaven directorswill be grooming and pruning their way to the perfect moustache, all in a good cause.
The Linden Homes ‘tache’ force comprises; land director Mike Walker, technical director Barry Maynard, sales director Chris Roads, finance director Fraser Hopes, production director Brendan Blythe, commercial director Chris Harris, company solicitor Peter Carr and managing director Chris Bond.
The Movember movement of Mo Bros raises money each year for research into prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostatecancer ever year and 250,000 men are currently living with the disease.
The idea to ditch the razors for the month of November has come fromChris Harris, who heads up the commercial department at Linden Homes’ head office in Peterborough.
He said: “It’s a great cause and a bit of fun too. This is the kind of fundraising event that gets people talking and hopefully donating to the cause.”
