In the final run up to Christmas Linden Homes invites you to marvel at its festive show home decorations at its Hanstead Park in the quaint village of Bricket Wood. The show home has been dressed up by interior designer Pat Nightingale from Blocc Interiors to reflect this year’s trends and give prospective buyers the chance to see what their 2021 Christmas could look like in their brand new Linden home.
Pat carefully chose the decorative colour pallet to echo that of the show home, opting for subtle brushed gold and bronze tones which is a continuous theme throughout ‘The Pembroke’, a stunning four-bedroom family home. Prospective buyers can arrange a one to one appointment to view this home and the stunning decorations to get the perfect feel for how their new home could look on Christmas Day next year.
Pat explains her choice of decorations: “There are certain do’s and don’ts when it comes to the all-important tree decorations this year. Tinsel is a big no no this season! We’ve chosen large baubles and unusual decorations to catch the eye. We wanted the tree to be the focal point and highlight of the house.”
When it comes to much loved Christmas traditions, and incorporating them into the design, Pat ensured that her love of nature was included: “I personally enjoy bringing nature and animals into the dressing. You can see where I’ve used the reindeer, the pinecones, and the leaves. I’ve also incorporated lots of candles and little surprises throughout the house like the large silver reindeer and presents under the lamp.”

Pat found dressing the show home to be easy due to the wide, open plan layout of the Pembroke and explains how it’s the perfect home for entertaining over the holidays: “My favourite aspect of the home is how beautifully spacious the living room is, perfect for entertaining, as it all opens into a kitchen/ diner and there is a lovely flow. Entertaining family here would be fantastic, the cook won’t be left out when preparing the festive feast and there is even a sperate study area on the ground floor which could be used for people to retire to for a post-Christmas lunch snooze!.”
