Suffolk based youth and adult community football club Stowupland Falcons will receive a £500 boost as the club heads into the 2020/21 season. Award winning developer Linden Homes (part of Vistry Group) has donated the sum to provide the U12’s Youth Team with a brand-new match kit for all the squad that will see them through the next two seasons.
Following the Covid-19 pandemic bringing the teams last season to an unexpectedly early end the team are looking ahead to an exciting new season with the kit to match! Linden Homes’ sponsorship will provide the funds for all the players to have their brand-new strip in time for their upcoming planned matches and training sessions.
Speaking about the sponsorship Pete Mayhew, Stowupland Falcons Football Club Chairman said: “Our fantastic club operates purely with volunteers so to have the generous sponsorship from Linden Homes is a huge boost to the club and to the U12’s Youth Team as we gear up for the new season. Stowupland Falcons Football Club has 300 plus members making up 20 teams comprising adult, youth and mixed teams and we are a very successful local club, having fielded teams in the Suffolk County Cup Final.
“As you can imagine we had to cancel many of our activities in the season just gone, which affected our revenue, so the sponsorship of our U12’s kit by Linden Homes means the world and as a club we cannot thank them enough. The U12’s are absolutely over the moon!”
