And they’re off! Staff at Linden Homes Midlands were under starter’s orders to raise as much money as possible during their charity Race Night.
Forget the Christmas reindeer, it was all about the gee-gees when colleagues at the Peterborough head office enjoyed a flutter for fun in aid of the company’s chosen charity for the year - Little Miracles.
Around £1,300 will be added to charity coffers, which so far have topped £10,000 as a result of bake offs, dress down days, Golf Day and a number of staff taking part in the Great Easter Run and much more.
Race Night organiser, area sales manager Karen Stockwell, said: “It was a lot of fun, with people really backing the event and getting into the spirit of things. We enjoyed a fish a chip supper and really made a fun evening out it. Our huge thanks to everyone who helped further boost our funds for Little Miracles and to our race sponsors.”
Race sponsors included New Homes Mortgage Helpline, New Homes Part Exchange, Hegarty Solicitors and Taylor Rose Solicitors, Claude Hooper Interiors, PJP Print and Wilkin Chapman Solicitors.
The fundraising will continue until the end of June 2017, with further events already being planned – including a staff skydive!
