Linden Homes is helping homebuyers by holding a Help to Buy event at its Greyfriars Quarter development in Gloucester on Saturday 8th April from 10am to 5pm.
Designed to assist first time buyers and existing homeowners, Help to Buy is a Government scheme that applies to any new build property up to the value of £600,000. It enables homebuyers to purchase a Linden home with just five per cent deposit and a 20 per cent Government loan that is interest free for the first five years and can be repaid at any time within 25 years.
Sue Scholfield, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes, said: “If you are uncertain about Help to Buy, we would encourage you to come and talk it through with our sales executives at the event. We will have independent financial advisors available to explain the process and offer advice; you could move sooner than you think thanks to Help to Buy.
“Home 231 is a contemporary two bedroom apartment priced at £156,500, however with Help to Buy you would only need a 75% mortgage of £117,375 and a 5% deposit of £7,825 – it really is a fantastic scheme, designed to help.”
