Leaving a lasting legacy in Sandymoor: Hatters Chase

Our Hatters Chase development has been popular since we opened our doors. Cheshire is famed as one of the most desirable places to live in the UK, so it's perhaps no surprise that this development in the leafy suburbs of Sandymoor has been snapped up.


Just five miles from Warrington, Sandymoor benefits from good schools, open spaces, walking routes, and nearby shops. It also offers great city connections via the M65 and Runcorn train station. 


Our energy-efficient homes have been in high demand amongst first-time buyers looking to step onto the property ladder, downsizers and those looking for more space.

But beyond the homes, we have also sought to leave a lasting legacy in the local area.


Most recently we sponsored the local football team, Runcorn Saxons Flānhred Boys Under 16s. We provided the team with a new kit, training jackets and equipment to help them thrive through the season.


Simon Newby, Runcorn Saxons FC team manager, commented: “The support we’ve received from Linden Homes has made a huge difference to the running of the club. It has provided the players with updated equipment and kit, enabling them to train and play to the best of their abilities. Sponsorships like this are vital for grassroots teams to continue creating opportunities for children and young people to develop their skills.”


We’re also closely connected with the local school, Sandymoor Ormiston Academy. We have regularly supported its pupils with career guidance and hosted site visits so they can see what goes into building new homes.


Through our Section 106 commitments, we are also developing a new play park and expanding the public open space. These additions are set to open once we complete all building work on our homes, to ensure residents have access to plenty of family-friendly green space.
