George Eustice MP Visits Linden Homes At Home @ Heartlands, Redruth

Award winning Linden Homes has been showcasing its energy efficient Home @ Heartlands development in Redruth to local MP George Eustice during a recent visit.

Nigel Palmer, managing director, along with Bill Cawse, development director and members of the site team gave Mr Eustice the chance to view the progress being made at the development, and discuss a number of issues concerning the economy and the housebuilding industry.

Mr Eustice said: “I was really pleased to be able to visit Linden Homes’ new development, Home @ Heartlands and to have a catch up with those involved. Great progress is being made that will deliver much needed and quality housing in our area and I look forward to seeing its completion.”

Nigel Palmer added: “We are delighted that Mr Eustice was able to take time out of his busy schedule to come and visit Home @ Heartlands, where the properties are being built to Code for Sustainable Homes level 4, which is much higher than average. We are extremely proud of this development and welcome the views and feedback of Members of Parliament in and around the areas we work.”

This popular development, located in Redruth next to Cornwall's historic mining centre, has a selection of one and two bedroom apartments, plus two, three and four bedroom homes available.

The homes will be built with increased levels of insulation and triple glazed windows to ensure heat loss is kept to a minimum. Each home will also be fitted with a high efficiency boiler with pre-heater water supply, photovoltaic panels, plus smart metering and energy display devices so you can keep track of how much energy you’re using. Energy efficient lighting and glazing will improve natural day-light and there is also a natural rainwater collection for garden use.
