Work is about to start on phase three of the Linden Homes development at Meridian Gate in Royston.
The latest phase of the scheme will provide 148 properties for the area, of which 45 will be affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
This is the final phase of the development, which is located off Newmarket Road, and it will also include the construction of a care home.
Linden Homes, which is part of the Vistry Group, began work on the project in October 2018. Since then, the developer has built 83 homes in phase one and is delivering a further 108 homes in phase two.
All the phase one properties have now sold. By the time the whole 339-home scheme is complete it will have provided 149 affordable homes for the area.
The site recently achieved 100 per cent scores in the Home Builders’ Federation (HBF) customer satisfaction survey for the second year running.
