It's not a sight you see every weekend, but for these fundraisers from Linden Homes and Aspin Primary School, fun and frolics at the Knaresborough bed race were a winning combination!
The popular Knaresborough Bed Race recently celebrated its 52nd anniversary, with over 90 teams making their way through the 2.4mile route, many to raise funds for their chosen good cause.
Linden Homes West Yorkshire, which has a number of developments in North Yorkshire, donated to the cause - supporting the Dalmations Bed Race team, whose members included LHWY associate sales director Clare Reaney and PTA member Sarah Leachman.
Sarah said: “It was a great day, hard work but a lot of fun - even the river crossing was refreshing! We've raised £1,850 towards PE equipment would like to thank Linden Homes for their generous sponsorship and support.”
