Market Harborough youngsters hoping to follow in the footsteps of their footballing heroes have been given a boost – thanks to developer Linden Homes Midlands.
The ‘coming soon’ Ashton Rise development has taken on something of a community feel; firstly receiving its name as a suggestion from the Market Harborough Historical Society, and now with the house builder sponsoring the new Market Harborough FC Under 15s kit.
The new look strip has been handed over to the team, who wore it for their recent home game.
Maz Hayton, club development & commercial executive, said: “We are thrilled with the kit, the lads look really smart in the new strip and our huge thanks to Linden Homes for supporting the club and all the dedicated, hardworking people and players who put so much time into its making it the success it is.”
Linden Homes sales director Clare Phillips said: “We wish the team all the best for the rest of the season and we have been delighted to offer sponsorship to a great community cause, particularly as we are looking to welcome new residents and families to the area through the Ashton Rise development.”
Ashton Rise will boast a stunning range of 119 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes and two-bedroom bungalows in the desirable area of Lubenham Hill, within walking distance of the town centre and train station.
Harborough Town FC is an FA Charter Standard Community Club, a Nike Partner Club and a charitable trust. It currently has 49 teams running across various age groups from Under 5s to Under 18s, boys and girls, a disability boys’ team and three adult senior male teams.
