Climb Every Mountain: Linden Homes Staff Peak At The Top For Children's Hospice South West

Some employees from Linden Homes’ Western region have completed the three peaks challenge for the company’s charity of the year, Children’s Hospice South West.

Climbing over 3,400 feet, the team trekked up Snowdon in Wales, Scafell Pike in England and Ben Nevis in Scotland within 24 hours.

Linden Homes’ managing director, Chris Harris, commented: “We are incredibly proud of our team for achieving this amazing feat. They’ve all worked hard in preparation for the challenge and we’re delighted they manage to complete the task, especially as they did so with a smile on their faces!

“We are doing our best to raise as much money for this very worthwhile charity as we can, from golf days to dress down Fridays, bake sales to cycle rides, to ensure we make a difference. Our commercial director recently raised over £3,100 at the charity’s Jail and Bail event.”

Janey Hellmen, corporate partnerships fundraiser for Children’s Hospice South West, said: “The team did so well in accomplishing this task and we’re delighted that they raised so much. Every penny makes a huge difference to the families we support and we are extremely grateful to Linden Homes for helping us to continue to make the most of short and precious lives.”

Children’s Hospice South West has three hospices near Bristol and in Devon and Cornwall. The hospices offer care for life-limited children and their families, and provide much-needed respite support helping to create precious family memories.
