Homebuyers in Peterborough looking to escape from the city are finding they can enjoy the best of both worlds in rural locations within easy reach of great road links.
Recent national research by Rightmove showed that city residents contacting estate agents to buy a home in a village rose by 126 per cent in June and July, compared to the same period last year.
And this trend is being seen by local housebuilder Vistry East Midlands – which is currently building new homes at Northstowe, Witchford, Sutton, Sawtry and Deeping St James and has seen rising interest from city-dwellers looking for a peaceful place to call home.
