Linden Homes hosted a Christmas Community Event at its French Furze development in Blackawton and it definitely hit the right note, thanks to the dulcet tones of the Blackawton Community Choir.
Councillors, the Reverend, local business people and members of the community came along to enjoy food and drink provided by the village’s The George Inn and to hear some Christmas carols.

It was such a festive event and it was wonderful to see everyone singing along with the group carols. From the Blackawton Amateur Dramatics Society to the Saturday Cooking Club, there are so many active groups – it’s amazing for a village of this size and they demonstrate that community is at the heart of everything.”
