Breeze Into University Life At Bournemouth
17 Jun 2014

Investment in student property is on the up. In ten years it has transformed itself from a fringe investment to a global market that’s estimated value is now around $200bn*. But there is still a serious shortfall in student accommodation in many of our university towns and cities:

Property consultancy Knight Frank, in a comprehensive survey of Britain’s university accommodation concluded that Bournemouth University was in a position to offer only around 19% of the students accommodation in halls of residence. There was just one private scheme too that provided a further 0.4% of students with somewhere to live.

With such a shortfall of rooms, it would seem sensible to consider an alternative to purpose-built student accommodation if you have a child going to Bournemouth University this autumn.

Linden Homes has just released a series of one bedroom apartments at Breeze in Boscombe, which is next to Bournemouth (you can walk to the town centre along the promenade) and the bus to the University stops just outside the Breeze building.

Breeze is a glamorous and conveniently located collection of apartments and penthouses 400 yards from the beach. So when your student moves out to return home for the summer, you can move into the Breeze apartment and use it as your holiday bolt hole.

Tina Chalk is marketing manager at Linden Homes Southern and said: “The one bedroom apartments and one bedroom ‘solos’ would make absolutely ideal student accommodation, and for that matter an ideal holiday apartment! They have a shower room, kitchen/dining room/living room and a separate bedroom. The kitchen and shower room is fully fitted. The kitchen has a washer/dryer, a hob, oven and extractor fan and a fridge freezer. There is a large storage cupboard too – where your student can store their stuff over the summer, freeing up the space for you to enjoy your holiday apartment.”

To find out more about these solos and one bedroom apartments for a student – or for use as a holiday home – or both - please call the marketing suite at Breeze in Boscombe on 0844 417 30 99. The Breeze suite is open from Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm (4pm on Friday) and you are most welcome to come along and talk through some of the financial options and visit the show homes.
