A brand new collection of Linden Homes, known as Empire Court, set in the heart of Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, will start to be released this autumn. The selection will eventually include one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom houses.

Many of the homes will qualify for the Government-led Help to Buy scheme.
The Help to Buy scheme has now helped almost 100,000 people purchase a new home since it was introduced in the spring of 2013. It’s available for the purchase of new homes priced below £600,000.
With Help to Buy you need just a 5% deposit and you can borrow, in the form of an equity loan, 20% from the Government. That means you only need to secure a 75% mortgage from your bank or building society.
Fatma Aytemur bought a Linden Home using Help to Buy and says the scheme played a large part in helping her to raise her sights: Instead of buying an apartment, she found she could afford a house instead.
“I had read pages and pages about Help to Buy because I’d considered using it right from the beginning. I knew it would help – but I never dreamed I could end up with a home like this! Borehamwood, home to the famous TV and film studios, is just 12 miles from Charing Cross. Empire Court is therefore within easy reach of central London and is conveniently located for the M1 and the A1.
