There are now just five apartments remaining at the extremely popular development, The Old Brewery in the Hampshire village of Horndean.
Lying just eight miles north of Portsmouth and conveniently close to the A3, this collection of homes has just five apartments remaining. All of these homes have two bedrooms and are either on the first or second floor of The Brew House at the heart of this Linden Homes development of new and refurbished homes. (There is lift access).
Tina Chalk is the marketing manager at Linden Homes Southern and she says if you haven’t considered buying a brand new home before, now might be the time:
“When you buy a second-hand home, you may get lots of character, maybe some special old features. But these come at a price. You could be faced with endless weekends spent doing DIY, or months of building work: You’ll have to prepare yourself for re-decorating, or even installing new bathrooms and a kitchen. You may need new carpets and new kitchen appliances. And what will you have to pay out on utility bills?
“The weather’s now turning distinctly chillier and it’s worth considering that, as energy costs go on climbing, the Government’s zero carbon targets for new build homes mean there’s never been a better time to buy a new, energy efficient home. The New Homes Marketing Board estimates that new homes can already be up to six times more energy efficient than older homes. But new homes aren’t just more energy efficient, they are safer – featuring the latest security devices and secure doors and double glazed windows – and they are designed for the way we live in 2015: Not the way we lived in 1915.”
Many of these apartments have all the comforts of 2015 living. Most of them are fitted with either walk on balconies or Juliet balconies. All of them have a main bathroom and an ensuite shower room within the master bedroom.
The kitchen, dining room offers very spacious, well designed living space with fully fitted and fully guaranteed appliances including fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, hob, oven, extractor fan and dishwasher. The bathroom and shower room are both finished with tiles and flooring.
All the apartments are ready to move into now. These two bedroom apartments qualify for the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
For those with a property to sell, Linden Homes is also offering its ‘Linden Assisted Move’ scheme which gives people practical assistance on selling their existing home and gives them the chance to reserve a new home right away. Under the scheme, not only will Linden Homes deal with the estate agents and pay all their fees, the housebuilder will guarantee* a fixed market value price for your property.
