When It Comes To First Impressions - The Kitchen Remains King!
31 Jan 2018

For many of us, the kitchen is the hub of the home – whether small and stylish for entertaining friends, or the busy space at the heart of family life.

And if you are looking for a brand new home, then the kitchen is likely to be the jewel in the crown of a new property.

New research* reveals the kitchen is the most important room when it comes to first impressions. The verdict was unanimous, according to the results of study among UK homeowners asked for their opinions.

A staggering third of people viewed the kitchen as a make or break when it comes to buying, with many put off by the extra £7,000 they're likely to spend on fitting a new one if buying a second hand property.

However, with a brand new home comes a brand new kitchen – and at Linden Homes West Yorkshire, there’s plenty to turn up the heat on second hand rivals.

With a brand new kitchen – where the latest energy saving fitted appliances often come as standard or optional extras – there are plenty of reasons to view it as the hub of the home.

Other benefits of a brand new kitchen;

  • Depending on the time you reserve your home, there may be an option to select your preferred kitchen tiles.
  • A brand new fitted cooker means reliability,
  • Creating space is a major consideration when designing a new kitchen,
  • Unlike a second hand kitchen, you won’t have to live with someone else’s taste in cupboard or worktops.
  • Careful consideration is also taken to the flooring.
  • New designs can often include a number of clever storage and space saving extras.
  • All Linden Homes kitchens and appliances are of a high standard
  • Above all, there is no work to be done – simply move in and enjoy your new kitchen.

Linden Homes West Yorkshire sales director Gina Holmes said: “For so many of our show home visitors and buyers, the kitchen is always the main attraction. They are always impressed and inspired by the varied designs – whether they are looking for something chic and stylish or an area they view as somewhere to be enjoyed as the hub of a family home.”
