West London Living At Its Best
01 Apr 2016

Buyers eyeing up a fashionable London home in a stylish location, with the added benefit of surrounding tranquil greenspace, need look no further.

Approximately a ten minute walk apart, Linden Homes is now offering not one, but two high-quality developments in some of west London’s, well established areas. Parkside Place, situated on Goldhawk Road and Kings Row on Kings Street are both in desirable spots, falling right on the cusp of Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush and Chiswick.

Darren Maddox, Managing Director at Linden Homes South East said: “There aren’t many locations in the capital that can tick all the boxes but at Parkside Place and Kings Row, there is something for everyone. Great shopping facilities, an endless list of food and drink venues, along with some of the city’s best open park spaces are, to name but a few of the enticing reasons that help make these sites some of the most desired spots to live in London.

“There’s plenty to do in such a fashionable and lively area, and if you wanted, you never need leave. However, with fabulous links into the city – living outside of the hustle and bustle has just become more tempting.”

Amenities

Ideally situated on Goldhawk Road, Hammersmith, Parkside Place comprises a choice of high quality two-bedroom apartments, plus duplexes.

The development is just a short walk from Chiswick High Road, with its enviable choice of boutique shops, family run independent restaurants and chic wine and cocktail bars. For live entertainment, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire and Bush Theatre is also within walking distance. Conveniently, the development also sits next door to a grocery store – handy for grabbing those last minute necessities; along with a local pub and café right outside your front door.

Kings Row is just a two minute drive from Parkside Place on Kings Street. Recently launched off-plan, this collection of homes will include studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, duplexes, penthouses and three-bedroom townhouses.

Socially, Kings Row is extremely well serviced for local amenities. Just a short walk away is the popular Riverside Studios with its café, cinema, theatre, and bar with an outdoor river terrace all under one roof. Similar to Parkside Place, Chiswick High Road, Shepherds Bush and Westfield are also close by.

Green space

For fast-paced city workers wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the great outdoors; Parkside Place and Kings Row are both surrounded by some of the capitals most peaceful greenery. In particular, Parkside Place sits directly opposite Ravenscourt Park and Kings Street similarly overlooks the Southern, leafy end of the park. With over 13 hectares of open, picturesque space free to wander, it is the perfect spot to admire daffodils and take a relaxing stroll during the approaching Spring evenings.

Slightly further afield, Chiswick House and Garden is just a short drive or bus ride away, a magnificent neo-Palladian villa, set in beautiful historic gardens. The park also has an on-site café and regularly hosts evening entertainment throughout the summer months – including an open cinema, beer festivals and the opera.

Active lifestyles

If fitness is high on the agenda, then there is a wide choice of sporting activities to choose from.

All within walking distance, a Fitness First is located on Hammersmith Grove (approx. one mile from Parkside Place), and Virgin Active on Hammersmith Road (one mile from Kings Row).

With the Thames close by, for avid sailors and rowers, there are also a number of rowing and sailing clubs all within a mile of both developments, including London Corinthian Sailing Club and Son of the Thames Rowing Club.

Ravenscourt Park also benefits from a wide variety of play equipment, tennis and basketball courts and an all-weather pitch.

Transport links:

Just ten minutes’ walk from Parkside Place is Zone two’s Goldhawk Road tube station on both the Circle Line and Hammersmith and City Line. Alternatively, for access to the District Line, Ravenscourt Park tube station is also just a ten minute walk from the development. A little further takes commuters to Shepherd’s Bush tube station for the Central Line and overground services.

Situated on King Street, Kings Row is just a five minute walk from Ravenscourt Park tube, taking commuters into the city via the District line. Convenient bus routes call right outside on King Street allowing easy travel into Hammersmith (10 minutes) and Kensington (approximately 15 minutes).

Parkside Place only has a few homes remaining, so interested buyers will need to act fast to secure one of the high-quality duplex apartments. Soon to launch off-plan, Kings Row has already proved popular and over half have sold. Both developments include properties with a premium specification and high-quality finish, as well as fixtures and fittings including a fully-fitted kitchen.
