Waltham Wolves U14 Cobras football team are on target for another successful season as local housebuilder, Linden Homes South, commits to extending its sponsorship of the teams’ kit for another season.
This is the second consecutive season the housebuilder has sponsored the team, in addition to providing a new football training pitch at Swanmore Technology College.
Currently playing in the Mid Solent A Division, the team have continued the new season as they finished the last, at the top, and winning the Hampshire Cup Final.
Neil Kerton, the Waltham Wolves ‘Cobras’ manager is elated with Linden Homes’ ongoing sponsorship. He said: “The team have grown together over the past few years and in growing as a team, they’ve also outgrown their kits! We are most grateful to Linden Homes for their ongoing support and can’t thank them enough for their generosity in ensuring the team have always had a fresh, well-fitting kit to aid them in their success!”
After the previous year’s victory, the beginning of this season was no different as the Cobras kicked off with a 4-1 win in the Hampshire Cup first round, and have maintained a fighting momentum throughout. They are currently sitting unbeaten at the top of the A league again this season and have a league cup semi-final to look forward to!
Jo Dixon, Marketing Manager for Linden Homes South, was honoured to be asked to sponsor the team again. She said: “We’ve watched their success as they have consolidated their position as the top team in the A division over the last few years and have become real fans of the team! We’re honoured to have played a part in their achievements and hope this year ends with the victory the boys deserve!”
