Tanya's Treasure Map Fortunes Rewarded With A Tasty Trove!

While many of us are counting the calories and cutting back on our food intake this New Year – new homes sales progressor Tanya Fairbass is putting the diet on hold for a little longer!

As well as being the organiser of a charity stunt at the Linden Homes Midlands head office, Tanya was also the winner – earning herself a luxury food hamper from Fortnum and Mason!

Over the past few weeks, staff have been ‘hunting’ for the hidden treasure by picking a plot on a site map in return for a donation to the company’s chosen good cause, Little Miracles.

And it was a late entry from Tanya which proved to be the winning number, chosen because it was the number of house she once lived in.

She said: “ I actually chose plot 43 on the morning of the draw as it was one of the unsold plots left on the treasure map, and I was determined we would sell all plots before the winning plot was revealed by our MD Mike Coker.

“It was a bit surreal being called as the winner, as I had organised the treasure hunt. The contents of the hamper look so delicious that I have waited until all the festive food over Christmas and New Year is out of the way, so myself and my daughter Amber - who also in the same Linden Homes office as myself - can enjoy all the luxury goodies!”

A total of 84 plots were sold at £2 each, raising £168 to add to coffers Linden Homes Midlands staff have collected for the company’s chosen charity.

The developer is around midway through its year of fundraising for the Peterborough-based charity, which supports families and children in the area.

To date, more than £10,000 has been raised through a number of well-supported events including a Race Night, Bake Offs, dress down days, It’s A Knockout event and a corporate Golf Day. More events are planned for 2017.
