First time buyers are making Leicestershire’s Blaby District their preferred choice to set up home, according to recent research, and there is still time to buy a brand new home in this area.
Linden Homes Midlands’ Trinity Brook development in Whetstone (part of the Blaby District) has been attracting first time buyers and existing homeowners to its selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

A study by Experian has shown that Blaby District is in the top five locations for ‘Aspiring Homemakers’ - which is defined as “young families on the first rung of the property ladder, aged 26-35.”
Other towns in the top five include Milton Keynes, Dartford in Kent and Swindon.
The Blaby district’s commutability to Leicester and Junction 21 of the M1, the gateway to the north, south and Birmingham has been highlighted as one of the many plus points.
And location and easy access to work is what attracted first time buyers, professional couple Ashley Crane and Rhea Marsden, to the Trinity Brook development.
Having a place of their own, enjoying the local surroundings and living in a commutable location are among the many requirements 25-year-old bank manager Ashley and business development manager Rhea (22) have been able to tick off their list, thanks to Linden Homes.
Ashley said: “Location was important for us. Rhea said: “This home suits our every need; budget, size and specification. Finally after months and months of saving we have our freedom, a place of our own and we could not be happier! “
