Spectacular Site Safety Leads To Award For Local Site Manager
13 Sep 2018

A Linden Homes Site Manager based at the award-winning housebuilders’ popular Beaumont Park development near Ringwood has received a prestigious Quality Award at the NHBC’s annual Pride in the Job Awards.

Following twelve months of rigorous judging, Matthew Coe was one of 450 first round winners from more than 16,000 entries. He has been recognised for his excellent standards on site and his outstanding contribution in creating homes of outstanding quality.

Matthew has worked with Linden Homes for just over a year and has been a Site Manager at Beaumont Park for ten months. Before joining the Linden team Matthew worked for Barratt Homes for six years.

Commenting on his award, Matthew said: “When I was an Assistant Site Manager I helped Site Managers to achieve their goal of winning an award and since becoming a Site Manager I’ve strived to win the award myself. I didn’t realise how hard it would be and how many extra hours I had to put in to achieve my goal, but I am glad I did it! I could not have achieved this without the help of my team who have been superb.”

Now in their 28th year, the awards are highly regarded within the housebuilding industry. This year’s winners were hand-picked after being assessed on the skills demonstrated on site including; consistency, leadership, attention to detail, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise and health and safety.

Phillip Chapman, Managing Director for Linden Homes South, commented: “It’s excellent that one of our Site Managers has been awarded such a prestigious award. Matthew works extremely hard; Beaumont Park is one of our most popular sites and this award is testament to Matthew’s exemplary work on site. We wish him the best of luck in the next stage of the competition.”

Following the announcement of the first-round winners, all have been invited to attend the regional award ceremonies this Autumn to celebrate their achievement and witness the announcement of the Seal of Excellent and Regional Award winners.

Phase two of Beaumont Park has now launched with a new collection of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes. Prospective buyers who missed out on the chance to snap up a dream home in the first phase and new househunters in the Ringwood area are encouraged to visit the team at the new Sales and Marketing Suite to find out more about the homes available.
