Safe as houses - site managers from three Linden Homes Midlands developments have been honoured for receiving national industry recognition.

There was special praise for Kevin Bishop (Saxon Gardens in Huntingdon), Nick Robinson (Cygnet Place, Witham St Hughs in Lincolnshire) and Craig Robson (Trinity Brook, Whetstone in Leicestershire) during a recent ceremony at Linden Homes' Peterborough head office.

The trio have been honoured for their professionalism with a coveted national Pride in the Job Quality Award, with the recent event marking their success in the competition so far.

Kevin, Nick and Craig were recognised by judges on the National House Building Council’s programme for their leadership, technical expertise, and robust health and safety management.

Pride in the Job is one of house building’s most prestigious awards and for the last 34 years it has been run to strengthen standards in the industry, and all three site managers attended the ceremony in Rutland where they each received their certificate.

They were selected from over 15,000 entrants from around the country for a Quality Award and will now join the shortlist for best in the East region and the Seal of Excellence. These will be presented to the UK’s top 130 site managers out of the 430 Quality Award winners.

Linden Homes’ production director Rob Spittles said: “Competition for the NHBC awards is fierce. I am delighted for Kevin, Nick, Craig and their teams, and that they have been recognised by the NHBC for the high quality of their work.”
