Community groups and good causes based in Fairford are being urged to take part in a monthly public vote to win a £100 donation from award-winning housebuilder Linden Homes.
Each month three organisations, such as charities, youth organisations or other village societies, will be listed in a ballot at the marketing suite at the Stoneleigh development off Cirencester Road.
Visitors will get the chance to support their favourite group by dropping a token into a box and at the end of the month £100 will be rewarded to the most popular.
Three new entrants will be in place after the result is announced for a fresh round of voting so as many people as possible have the chance of securing the £100 donation.
Now Linden Homes is appealing for groups to get in touch and put themselves forward for the first round of voting.
Linden Homes Thames Valley sales and marketing director, Steve Garton, said: “We’re always keen to support local good causes but we thought it would be even better if the community could decide where the funds went.
“The homes at Stoneleigh have proved very popular and I think that’s a lot to do with the welcoming community and beautiful surroundings. We want to do our bit to help the neighbourhood by giving something back.
“I hope people come and vote at the sales centre, even if they’re not intending to buy a home. For those who are househunting though, I’d advise them not to wait too long and miss out on securing a superb home in a wonderful place offering a special lifestyle.”
