At its annual Christmas Fair on 8th December, St Paul’s Pre-School in Haywards Heath raised just under £2,000, with a little help from its friends at Linden Homes.
The biggest hit at the fair were 240 bespoke Christmas cards designed by the pre-school’s children, which were printed by Linden Homes. In addition, the local house builder provided a £250 John Lewis voucher to a lucky raffle prize winner.
Moya Gentle, Chair of St Paul’s Pre-School said:
“Our Christmas Fair was a huge success and we would like to thank Linden Homes for all their help. It was really great to get into the festive spirit with the pupils, parents and the wider community. The Christmas cards created by the pupils were by far the most popular item with them all selling out. We look forward to injecting the proceeds made back in to the school.”
Darren Maddox, Managing Director of Linden Homes South East said: “It’s been such a pleasure to work with St Paul’s Pre-School and it was fantastic to see the creativity from the pupils who created such festive Christmas cards which I’m sure their friends and families will love receiving this year.
“Since we started work at our nearby Fox Hill development, we’ve been keen to get involved with the local community and I am delighted that we’ve played our part in creating some holiday cheer. From everyone at Linden Homes, I’d like to wish Haywards Heath a very Merry Christmas.”
