CHILDREN from Greens Norton C of E Primary School have been treated to an extra curricular lesson – with house building appearing on the timetable!
A group of youngsters and teachers received a special invitation from Linden Homes to see just what goes into building a new housing development.
And where better to get an insight than at the nearby Roman View development in the village.
The budding builders and architects were treated to a demonstration of construction machinery at work, before taking part in a house building and health and safety quiz.
The seven to nine year olds also had a chance to find out what goes into building a home by chatting to site manager Glenn Smyth.
The children have now been tasked with designing a safety poster, which will be displayed in the Linden Homes sales and marketing suite at the development.
An intimate development on the edge of Northamptonshire, Roman View will comprise a range of one, two, thee and four-bedroom homes set in a private cul-de-sac location.
Perfectly positioned just two miles to the north west of Towcester, many of the homes will enjoy panoramic rural views across open countryside.
