Newent Football Team Scores With Sponsorship From Local Housebuilder

National housebuilder Linden Homes has shown its support for the local area, by sponsoring the Newent under-14s football team.

Currently building three- and four-bedroom homes at Meadow Grove, in Newent, the company is supporting the young players of tomorrow, by sponsoring their new football strip.

Kellie Risdale, sales manager for Linden Homes, said: “As a company, we’re always keen to be involved in the community around our developments. The Newent U14s team has a great spirit – and we’re very proud to support the team and watch its progress this season. Who knows, the next Wayne Rooney may be playing for the team right now!”
