New show home opens its doors in Waterlooville

A new show home has been unveiled at the Catherington Park location in Waterlooville.

The four-bedroom Westminster house is now open for prospective buyers to view by appointment at the Linden Homes development.

Vistry Group is building 239 properties under its Linden Homes brand at the site.

There is currently a selection of four-bedroom houses for sale at the development, including three of the Westminster house type priced from £468,000.

Melanie Richards, sales and marketing director for Vistry Southern, said: ““Our Westminster show home is now open to view by appointment only. Since its launch, we have seen high levels of interest, with appointments to view the home completely booked for the first two weekends.

“This four-bedroom property boasts spacious living with a stylish open-plan kitchen-diner, which is perfect for those who love hosting friends and family gatherings.

“The Westminster also includes a study, a feature which has become increasingly desirable following the pandemic due to the rise in homeworking. Located on the ground floor, this study provides the perfect workspace away from the home comforts of the bedrooms on the first floor.”

The other four-bedroom house design at Catherington Park is the Canterbury, priced from £437,600, which is the final home at the site which can be purchased with Help to Buy before the scheme ends this autumn.

The Government-scheme enables first-time buyers to purchase a home with just a five per cent deposit and 75 percent mortgage. The remaining 20 per cent is provided as an equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years.

The initiative is available on new-build homes priced up to £437,600 in the South East of England region.

Melanie said: “This will be the very last opportunity to use Help to Buy at Catherington Park and customers will need to reserve before the 31 October in order to be eligible for the scheme.

“Priced just within the Help to Buy regional price cap, these two Canterbury homes represent a great opportunity for families looking to purchase their first home with a small deposit and reduced mortgage.

“These four-bedroom family homes are situated in a secluded part of the Catherington Park development which is lined with mature trees. The site is conveniently close to the A3 which offers good road links to Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester and London, while families have also been drawn by the wide range of schools located within a two mile-radius of the development.”
