New Homes Neighbours Have A Natter Over Coffee And Cake For Charity

Neighbours and residents from Linden Homes Midland’s Rugby development took time from their busy day to have a natter, get acquainted and raise cash for charity at a recent cake sale.

Mum and daughter Heather Riley and Holly Jackson organised the event at The Spinney’s in Cawston to co-incide with the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning For Macmillan - with a fantastic cake created by assistant site manager Andy Lattaway’s star baker wife, Amanda a real show stopper!

Over £130 was raised during the event, which was supported by existing and new residents.

Heather said: “We had a fabulous day. It was really well attended, with most of our new and future residents popping in throughout the day – so we took the opportunity to hold an impromptu ‘meet your neighbours day’!

“Amanda’s cake was a real talking point and Holly and myself would like to thank everyone who helped us raise £133.64.”
