Margate Sales Consultant Flips The Script As She Buys New-build Home From Housebuilder Employer

A happy sales consultant at a national housebuilder has bought a new-build home where she works and says nothing can beat the location, which has just seen the launch of a second phase of apartments.

Heather Carter purchased a two-bedroom house at Linden Homes’ Westwood Point, off Star Lane Link, which now has one and two bedroom-apartments available to purchase from its Shearwater Place phase.

Heather, who has lived in Thanet her whole life and joined the housebuilder in 2019, said she was delighted with her home and that first-time buyers, couples and growing families had all shown interest in the new phase.

She said: “I’m over the moon to have bought a property at Westwood Point, I completed two weeks ago and I am very happy with my new home. It’s a fantastic place to live and Linden Homes is building wonderful homes and apartments here that are close to the sea and nearby towns, making it perfect for that coastal lifestyle while still close to an impressive range of shops and facilities, and the transport network – I love it.”

Apartments include a balcony; covered parking; open-plan kitchen, living and dining area; a large master bedroom with an en suite; plus a 10-year Premier warranty. There are also three-bedroom homes available at Westwood Point. Purchasing options include Help to Buy, where first-time buyers need just a five per cent deposit.
