Local Housebuilder Invites Communities To Spread Some Festive Cheer This Christmas
30 Nov 2018

Linden Homes’ Chiltern Division is inviting local schools, businesses and residents to drop-off Christmas presents for two children’s charities. The charities, Building for the Future (BFTF) and Post Pals were nominated by the staff from the Division.

The housebuilder has pledged its support to both charities this Christmas, to help those in need who may be facing a difficult time Christmas this year.

Post Pals is a small charity run solely by volunteers who are dedicated to making seriously ill children, between the ages of 3 and 17, and their siblings smile through friendship and support.

Building for the Future is a parent-led charity, providing activities, support and therapy at its centre for children with disabilities and / or additional needs and their families.

Linden Homes’ Chiltern Division is encouraging employees to donate small gifts, as well as residents, schools and businesses near its developments.

For those looking to donate, the gifts* should be dropped off with Linden Homes staff at its Chiltern developments by Friday 14th December. After this date, the housebuilder will deliver to the charities.

Adrian Sims, Managing Director for Linden Homes Chiltern, commented: "As many of us are starting our shopping and getting set for Christmas, there are children and families facing a difficult time this year, whether it’s because of serious illness or a disability. We would like to invite local schools, residents and businesses to work with us and help those in need."

*Gifts that would be greatly appreciated by Building for the Future:

  • Dressing up clothes
  • Lego
  • Play-doh (especially play-doh games)
