In the pink after their Race For Life efforts is the team from developer Linden Homes Midlands – which is on course to treble its sponsorship target for Cancer Research UK.
The ‘Linden Lovelies’ from the company’s Peterborough-based head office joined hundreds of women at the recent 5km race at Ferry Meadows in the city.
The team included staff from the sales, customer care, finance and commercial areas of the Linden Homes business – and has so far raised a staggering £1,400.
Linden Homes’ marketing manager Victoria Barlow said: “Cancer touches so many lives, and while it was an emotionally charged event, the atmosphere was amazing and we were delighted to be taking part. The donations so far have been fantastic, thanks to everyone for their generous support.”
