Linden Homes Supports Torquay Cricket Club's Junior Section

Following its successful relationship, leading housebuilder Linden Homes has renewed its support for Torquay Cricket Club, for the third year running.

The focus of the sponsorship this year is the junior section of the club, where both Linden Homes & Torquay Cricket Club are keen to invest in the future.

Ben Passenger, first team captain and junior coach for Torquay Cricket Club said: “We’re delighted that Linden Homes is supporting us again as it will enable us to invest in facilities and focus on competitions for all young people at the club. It’s great to be sponsored by a local company with a strong reputation.”

Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director of Linden Homes said: “We’re delighted to support the local community in such a positive way. Inspiring the younger players really appealed to us; their enthusiasm for the sport is excellent and we have enjoyed following their matches – there are some very talented players.”

Torquay Cricket Club has been in existence for 77 years, there are currently five senior teams, two ladies teams and six junior teams and its ground is situated near to Torquay’s seafront.

Linden Homes has a number of current and coming soon developments in the local area, including The Copse, Ogwell; Webster Place, Newton Abbot; Hollicombe; Orestone View, Goodrington; White Rock, Paignton and Riverside, Totnes.

The company is also building homes in Exeter, Exminster, Okehampton, Westward Ho!, Plymouth, Liskeard, Duporth, Grampound, Truro, Wadebridge and Redruth.
