Prize-winning Linden Homes was handing out silverware, for a change, rather than picking it up when the company attended the LSL Property Press Awards 2014 as one of the main sponsors.
About 200 people joined the Champagne ceremony at the chic 8 Northumberland Avenue, off Trafalgar Square in London, on Monday March 17th.
Linden Homes sponsored the Garden Writer of the Year Award – a new category this year for the awards – which was appropriately won on St Patrick’s Day by Bunny Guinness, writer for the Sunday Telegraph’s Life section.
The prize was presented by Linden Homes Divisional Managing Director Tom Nicholson, who congratulated Bunny and all the winners. They were chosen by a judging panel of over 45 property experts.
The Garden Writer of the Year silver award went to freelance journalist Pattie Barron while Caroline Donald of the Sunday Times picked up bronze.
Tom Nicholson said: “At Linden Homes we were very proud to sponsor the LSL Property Press Awards 2014 – it’s a pleasure to recognise such outstanding journalism. For us, it’s also a chance to look beyond the building site hoardings and contribute something extra to our industry.”
