Linden Homes Lays Foundations For Successful Career Path

The only way is up, according to housebuilder of the year, Linden Homes. The Thames Valley regional office based in Milton Park, Abingdon has made three significant appointments all coming in the form of internal promotions from other regional offices across the group.

The roles include finance director, Paul Hopkins transferring from Galliford Try headquarters in Uxbridge, a commercial manager role taken up by Nick Carey who has transferred from Linden Homes Western, and Nick Ashfield takes over the role as technical manager, transferring from Linden Homes Chiltern. All three personnel based at the Abingdon offices, and are pleased to be developing their careers and are looking forward to their new responsibilities working in the Thames Valley regional office.

These appointments are another significant milestone for the Thames Valley regional business, which officially opened its local offices in May of this year. It continues with the tradition of internal promotions which promises opportunity for anyone joining Linden Homes, with a bright future of continual career development.

Peter Carpinelli, managing director of Linden Homes Thames Valley said: “Our people are our greatest asset; we say it often and with good reason. He continued: We have high expectation for the Thames Valley business which launched earlier this year, and I am delighted that we are exceeding expectations in all areas. These appointments mark another step in expanding the regional operation and I am delighted to have three very ambitious new members of the team on board.

Carpinelli said: “Since our business launched back in May, no less than six developments are already underway and we are growing at pace. I have employed a number of external people however it is always pleasing to see internal promotions of excellent individuals as a way of recognising and rewarding Paul and the two Nick’s long term contribution and dedication to Linden Homes.”

Since launch, Linden Homes Thames Valley has gone from strength to strength and has already launched two successful developments at Exemplar Park, Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire and another at Royal Chase, Woolton Hill in Newbury both of which are already seeing impressive attention and levels of reservations to boot.

Construction has also started on Saxon Gate, East Hanney and Maple Wood, Sonning Common both in Oxfordshire together with Belmont Crescent, Hungerford and the Artisan Quarter, Moreton in Marsh in Gloucestershire all of which will be launching over the coming months.
