Linden Homes repeated its support and joined in the huge anticipation for Truro's 17th annual City of Lights festival.
The event on November 20th brought the community to life with 25,000 spectators watching a parade of 10 illuminated giant creature-shaped lanterns winding its way through the streets – inspired by the intriguing theme of "expect the unexpected".
The spectacular goings-on lit up the night and provided a big boost for city traders. They included hundreds of smaller lanterns created by pupils and community groups, as well as a feast of music and dance with samba and pipes & drums.
Clare Hearn, sponsorship manager for City of Lights, said: ‘Without the support of sponsors like Linden Homes, we wouldn’t be able to continue with this exciting event that enables all of the community to come together and celebrate the creativity of local school children and the amazing talent of local artists.
“We are really grateful that Linden Homes have supported this annual event and look forward to working with them in the future.’”
Linden Homes’ sales and marketing director Brian Deacon said: "The City of Lights festival is such a popular and spectacular event in Truro that we were delighted to add our sponsorship to help it go ahead.”
