Trevor Lepley bought his new four bedroom property from Linden Homes using Help to Buy – and was one of the first in the country to do so. He says he simply couldn’t have managed it without the scheme:
“There is no way I could have afforded a four bedroom house without Help to Buy. I secured a mortgage of 3.09% and my new home is only £90 more a month than the rent I was paying out for the two bedroom flat I was in previously - a flat that was a third of the size of my new house.”
