Linden Homes hosted a ‘Meet the Neighbours’ event for residents at its Quantum Fields location in Littleport.
The event, which took on Monday 24 July, brought together residents already living at the development as well as housebuyers whose homes are still under construction.
Linden Homes is building 360 properties in the first phase at Quantum Fields, which is located off Grange Lane in the village. Construction work began in May 2022 and the first residents moved into their completed homes in February.
Colin Marshall, sales advisor for Quantum Fields said: “It was lovely to bring together the residents at Quantum Fields and introduce them to their neighbours. Busy lifestyles can often make it hard for neighbours to find the time to meet each other, so we thought we’d do our bit to make it that little bit easier.
“We recently handed over the keys to some more completed homes last month so it seemed an opportune time to organise this event and make our new arrivals feel part of the Quantum Fields family. It was also a good opportunity for future residents to get to meet their neighbours before they move in.
“We provided a range of food and refreshments for those who attended and the residents seemed genuinely grateful that we had put on this event for them. There was a really good turnout, the conversation flowed, and some new friendships were made during the course of the afternoon.”
Laura Thomas, sales manager for Quantum Fields, said: “We’ve made excellent progress at Quantum Fields since starting construction work last May, with many of the homes now completed and occupied by their new owners.
“With more buyers continuing to move in, we thought this event would be a good way to foster a strong sense of community within this growing neighbourhood.”
Linden Homes at Quantum Fields is part of a wider development which is set to deliver a total of 680 homes, a new community centre, and a green open space with a children’s play area.
There is currently a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes available at Linden Homes at Quantum Fields, with prices starting from £230,000.
