Celebrating a stress-free move to their brand new home in Biddenham, through the popular part exchange scheme, are Martin and Jayne Black.
The professional couple chose Linden Homes Midlands’ St Mary’s development because of its commuter-friendly location in their search to upsize to a new build property.
Coupled with that the chance to sell their existing home hassle-free, data scientist Martin and senior policy adviser Jayne made the move from their two-bedroom Northamptonshire home to a three bedroom one in Biddenham.
Martin said: “We chose Bedford based on its proximity to London, as we both work there. After our last purchase, we were actively looking for a new build property; there are a lot of advantages to a new build and a nice feeling of being the first one in, with everything brand new.
“We visited Bedford itself a few times and went to a couple of different new build developments, but St Mary’s provided the best all-round based on location, price and house type. We finally settled on Linden Homes as we'd heard good reviews.”
Assisted in their move through Part Exchange, Jayne added: “It did provide reassurance and reduce the stress of having to find a buyer for our home and was nice not having to move out until our new home was ready; and not having to go through any stresses of having buyers fall through.”
Martin commented: “Location wise, Bedford itself is well placed and connected to London. Locally, the development is on the outskirts of town with easy links to the A6 and A422 to Milton Keynes. The home itself it is well finished, has spacious rooms and high quality fixtures and fittings. The finish overall is of a high standard and Linden Homes customer service has been excellent at all stages.”
