Gavin Takes To The Skies To Raise Money For Inspiration Little Ada

Having overcome his fear of flying to take part in a charity sky dive – Linden Homes West Yorkshire sales executive Gavin Hughes has high hopes for a repeat performance next month.

Gavin, who is based at the Brompton Fold development at Apperley Bridge will be jumping 10,000 feet out of a plane to boost charity coffers for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation.

He will be joining over 20 friends and family members of Leeds youngster Ada (4) – the daughter of a friend who was born with a rare condition called biliary atresia, and inevitably leads to a liver transplant.

The sky dive takes place on May 8, with Gavin hoping to raise £2,500 to support the cause. Donations to date on the family’s Just Giving page already topped £1,250.

Gavin said: “I am raising money for Children's Liver Disease, as for one of my dear friend’s daughter Ada this is a reality. Ada is an inspiration and a little fighter having had a major surgery after her birth and maybe needing a liver transplant in the near future.

“I battled my fear of flying to do this around 18 month ago, and did not hesitate when invited to do it again this year.”
