Playtime at a new village community in Wiltshire just got interesting…
Families living in and around Longhedge Village near Salisbury can now benefit from the development’s first play park, funded by Linden Homes and Bovis Homes.
Sue Scholfield, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes, said: “We’re delighted to officially open this fantastic new play park at Longhedge Village, it’s a wonderful new facility for the local community and we loved seeing the children having fun at the launch. This is one of 12 play parks that will be opened at Longhedge Village and we look forward to seeing them all enjoyed.”
Councillors and representatives from Linden Homes and Bovis Homes gathered together to celebrate the launch, with students from nearby Old Sarum Primary School in attendance to test out the new equipment!
Councillor David Burton said: “We are very pleased that this, the first of a number of play parks at Longhedge Village, is operational for our young residents to enjoy. Laverstock and Ford Parish Council are delighted to be taking on the management and care of Robinson Grove Play Park following its delivery by the Linden and Bovis teams.”
“Longhedge Village is a superb new community and we’re delighted to be able to enhance the location with this great new play park!” says Hollie Lockhart, regional marketing manager. “It’s a lovely location, with a great Bovis Homes team in place, and we’re sure lots of families will enjoy this new feature!”
Longhedge Village has been carefully designed with open spaces and footpaths to create a family-friendly neighbourhood. With a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes in a variety of styles, the location is proving popular with Wiltshire buyers.
