Developer Linden Homes Midlands is celebrating a flying start to 2015 – selling £7.3 million worth of property in the first two months of the year.
The company, which has its head office in Peterborough, sold 37 new homes during January and February. Many of these have been snapped up through the popular Help To Buy initiative.
Part exchange has also played a large part in the number of early 2015 sales, helping homeowners with an existing property to achieve a hassle-free move.
The sales, at the rate of an average of four per week, demonstrate continued buoyancy in the housing market.
Figures released by Linden Homes Midlands show 160 private homes were reserved from July 2014 to the end of February 2015 – equating to £35.5 million worth of business.
And with more new developments due on stream in the coming months – offering 400 private and affordable homes in the pipeline - the award-winning housebuilder predicts much of the same for the foreseeable future.
Linden Homes currently has developments in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
Land acquisitions and planning permission in additional locations across the region will see new sites at Bedford, Dunstable and Brackley.
