Neighbours of a new homes development in York have received a festive treat from the house builder behind the scheme, as a thank you for their patience during building work.
Five residents living close to Linden Homes North’s popular Greenacre Paddock development were each presented with a hamper filled with Christmas goodies by the company’s sales manager Julie Hubbard.
The gifts were a token of Linden Homes’ thanks to the residents for their patience during construction work at the development, which is due for imminent completion.
Julie said: “As the development is very close to these existing residents and their homes, we wanted to say a massive thank you to them for any inconvenience which the building work and traffic may have caused them during the past few months.
“We hope the hampers will be enjoyed by the residents and their families this Christmas.”
Work on the desirable cul-de-sac development at Westview Close began in May this year, with more than half the number of homes snapped up from plan within the first few months of being released.
A total of eight two, three, four and five bedroom homes will make up Greenacre Paddock, with all the residents due to be celebrating Christmas in their new home.
The development celebrated international fame earlier this summer, when the location formed part of the Tour de France cycle route.
