Developer Gets A Taste For Singing At Fundraising Curry-Oke Night!

HELPING to curry favour with footballing youngsters in Methley, developer Linden Homes brought new meaning to singing for your supper!

The housebuilder, which is currently building The Pavilions development in the village, is continuing to play its part in the local community with a contribution towards the Methely Junior Football Club.

The cash was handed over to the Club – which has teams ranging from under 5s to under 16s – at a recent fundraising Curry-oke night held at Methley Cricket Club.

Linden Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “As a developer it is very important for us to support the local community in the areas in which we are building.

“Youth teams are a great asset to any community and we are delighted to support the Junior Football Club. The evening was a lot of fun, although I did on this occasion stay away from the microphone as it may have put people off their food!”
