No strangers to designing and constructing modern and stylish properties – Linden Homes Midlands is now asking for a little creative input from a fresh, young audience!
As part of its series of community engagement initiatives, the developer has teamed up with the Great Barford Primary Academy’s Nursery class offering pre-school children the chance to design their dream home, as part of a fun competition.
The youngsters have free reign on the drawings, paintings or colourings – and prizes will be awarded for the best efforts.
The primary school is located close the Linden Homes’ Goodwin Place development, and it is hoped that a number of older children will be visiting the site over the next few weeks to learn more about the house building process.
Linden Homes Midlands sales manager, Gary Cranfield said: “It is very important for us as a developer to engage with the local community. We are really looking forward to seeing what the children come up with in terms of their designs – and are preparing for the wacky and wonderful!”
Amanda Meadows, school administrator at Great Barford Primary Academy said: “We are very excited about our involvement with Linden Homes and the children are really looking forward to letting their imaginations explore what designing a home means to them.”
Goodwin Place is the latest in a series of Bedfordshire developments for Linden Homes Midlands, offering a range of semi-detached and detached styles, the homes are designed to appeal to everyone.
