Daredevil Vanessa Takes To The Skies To Support Mental Health Charity

With May recognised as Mental Health Awareness Month, Linden Homes East Yorkshire’s Vanessa Allison has quite literally thrown herself into raising funds for Mind.

Certainly not one to keep her feet still – or on the ground - for very long, Vanessa took to skies over Lincolnshire for a skydive with two of her sons; Ashley and Bradley.

The adventurous mum has taken part in sponsored walks, cycle rides, a previous sky dive and a paraglide over recent years to boost funds for a range of good causes close to her heart.

The sporty Linden Homes East Yorkshire sales executive is just over halfway towards her £300 target for mental health charity, Mind.

Vanessa said: “Mental Health is one of the biggest killers in men under 40, although it can affect anyone at any time, so with our charity effort we hope we can bring this condition out into the open and help someone/anyone!

“As a family, we are very passionate about this charity and love to help out volunteering when we can. My youngest son Toby also gets involved. The charity relies on the support of local people to enable it to help more people in North East Lincolnshire.

“To have supported the charity in what is Mental Health Awareness Month makes it all the more poignant.”
