Developer Linden Homes Midlands will be unveiling 120 new homes close to the Cathedral city of Lincoln next summer, following approval of plans for a new development.

Bracebridge Heath will be the sought-after location for the mix of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with work due to start on the infrastructure this month. The first of the new homes are expected to be completed in June 2020.

In addition to the new homes, the housebuilder will be ploughing over £700,000 into local community benefits through the S106 agreement with the local planning authority.

Contributions totalling £739,000 include:

• £51,000 towards improvements at the Bracebridge Heath Practice
• £287,989 towards Bracebridge Heath Primary School
• £100,000 towards the provision and maintenance of cycleways and facilities serving the development.
• £300,000 towards Lincoln Eastern Bypass

In addition, there will also be an onsite play area and provision of affordable housing.

Bracebridge Manor marks a return to Lincoln for Linden Homes Midlands, which has a long history of new build in and around the city centre; from luxury apartments to family homes.

The development is located close to Linden’s former Cathedral View site and will be accessed from Westminster Drive.
