While the Christmas jumpers have been banished for another year, Linden Homes Midlands found time to do an additional bit of fundraising to round off 2015!
Staff from all departments at the Peterborough head office collected the cash by sporting their most creative festive woollies to work in the Text Santa Christmas Jumper Day.
Around £60 was raised on the day, adding to the total £13,000 raised for charities during 2015.
Linden Homes Midlands managing director Mike Coker said: “We had a fabulous selection of jumpers and everyone really got behind the idea to have fun and raise money for some great causes at the same time.”
Text Santa is a charity initiative set up in 2011 by ITV to support UK-based charities during the Christmas period. Those benefiting from the £8.5 million raised from the 2015 event include Save the Children, Macmillan Cancer support and Make-a-Wish UK.
Meanwhile Linden Homes Midlands technical staff staged their own fundraising stunt by wrapping gifts for colleagues in return for a donation to the Steps Centre - a charity which provides specialist nursery services and support to children with motor disorders and their families
