With The Great British Bake Off back on our TV screens - budding bakers at Linden Homes Midlands have been preparing their own perfect pastries, terrific tarts and smashing sponges.
The latest tasty instalment came from the customer services team, as part of the company’s regular baking sessions to raise money for its chosen charity, Peterborough-based Little Miracles.
Colleagues from across all departments tucked into a range of sweet treats without a soggy bottom or overworked dough in sight!
Senior technical administrator Jane Coulson is co-ordinating the fundraising for the Little Miracles charity, which supports families that have children with additional needs, disabilities and life limiting conditions.
She said: “We’ve had a lot of fun with our baking sessions to date, and with the return of The Great British Bake Off, we hope that will boost interest over the next few weeks.
“Thanks to all staff who have supported our fundraising events so far. There is plenty more to come throughout the rest of the year.”
Other events planned through the rest of the year include; the annual Golf Day, a Race Night, some staff taking part in the Great Eastern Run and a Pub Quiz.
So far, around £1,500 has been raised from events that have already taken place.
