A top industry performance award has been won by the site manager at housebuilder Linden Homes’ Century Gate development in Beckenham.
The professionalism of Ian Wade (52), from Brasted, Kent, has been recognised with a coveted Pride in the Job Quality Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC).
Ian is among six Linden Homes site managers around the country to be recognised for the high standard of their work. Overall, 450 Quality winners were picked from 15,000 entrants.
“I’m very proud to win the Pride in the Job Quality Award, but this is something for the whole team, really,” said Ian. “We have pulled together at Century Gate to build a really high standard collection of homes, with plenty of character, which our customers seem to love.”
Ian and his Linden Homes colleagues will find out in the autumn if they have also become one of the top 130 site managers to secure the coveted Seal of Excellence.
The Pride in the Job Awards have been run for the last 33 years to credit those with leadership, technical expertise, robust health and safety management – and a special X factor.
